In about a month, C-Town Supermarket on 2910 Broadway, Astoria will be closing their doors for some major renovations.

The renovations are set to take over a year.

 

 

According to posters – which thanked customers for their loyalty over the last 30 years –  the revamp will see the Broadway location as one of the best C-Town stores in Queens.

 

There are also rumors that condos will be developed on the upper floors, while the lower floor will be the C-Town store.

The location is a sizable one, with a car park which may also see a change.

 

Astorians know the corner as the home of the King of Falafel, an Astorian staple.
