More Snow On The Way

There's been a snow alert issued to all five boroughs ahead of a snow storm that's said to affect Friday's commute.

It won't be like the last one, according to the Department of Sanitation. Only light snow will fall on the city, however the amount over night may cause traveling to and fro frustrating and slow.

The alert comes on at 12AM Friday.

According to Pix11, rain in Long Island and the Jersey Shore will turn into snow around 3AM as the cold air filters through. Precipitation chances are 50%, winds up to 15mph, and temps of around 30.

The snow showers will be hovering about during Friday's commute, so drivers are urged to plan ahead for their morning.

Bit of a plus however, Super Bowl Weekend should be looking up, with sunny skies and temperatures around mid-40's.
