On Friday, October 24, 2014, Art House Astoria Conservatory for Music and Art celebrates its 5th Anniversary during its annual Fundraising Gala in Astoria. Our local favorite, Brooklyn Bagel and Coffee Company,will be hosting the gala for the second year. This year’s theme is POP ART!

Art House Astoria is a non-profit, established in 2009, whose mission has been to bring affordable art and music education to Astoria and the surrounding Queens area.

Headlining the event in a cabaret performance will be Joe Iconis and Family. A writer and performer, Joe Iconis is a two-time Drama Desk Award nominee whose songs were featured on the second season of the NBC television show, Smash. The performers of the night will be representing the Art House Astoria, as well as contributing their art pieces. There will be a live auction to purchase these pieces.

Food, raffles and giveaways will also happen throughout the night.

In addition to presenting the evening’s event, Brooklyn Bagel will be supplying food and beverages. Additional sponsorship is provided by First Investor’s Advisory Services, LLC.

General admission is $25.00 presale; admission at the door will be is $35.00. All proceeds will benefit Art House Astoria, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2009 with a mission to bring quality arts education to Astoria and Queens.
