Man Robbed of $27,000 in Astoria

A 36-year-old man has fallen prey to a horrible robbery – $27,000 in cash.

 

The NYPD released this picture of the suspect, after he stole the money.

 

 

The events unfolded on the morning of October 23rd, around 11 am, when the suspect followed his victim into a check-cashing store – David’s Check Cashing on 31st Street – and stole his bag of money. The suspect has his hand covered with a plastic bag – imitating a gun.
