We just got this invite to a celebration of two amazing men, and we want to share it with you guys!

In this time of year where we celebrate our Veteran’s

dedication and accomplishments

Come celebrate Sal Gagliardo’s service to our country and our community

on the occasion of his 100th Birthday.

Also help us honor Luke Gasparre, 90 years young;

both are World War II combat veterans and community activists.

Sal was active in both the Pacific and European theaters, having served both in Pearl Harbor and Italy. He is a highly decorated veteran, member of the OSS and recipient of the Bronze Star.

He was also extremely involved in civilian life in Astoria as a Community Board member for decades, President of Astoria Civic Association and a career in City Planning

Luke was a combat soldier and served in Europe where he saw action in the Battle of the Bulge. He is a highly decorated veteran. He has been active in Astoria’s community life, as a member of the Taminent Democratic club and various other civic groups

Come honor them and listen to their very interesting stories
