The 114th precinct has swiftly put this story to bed – and caught a horrific perpetrator.

 

Yesterday, we told you about an attack in Astoria on an elderly man. The man was attacked and robbed in bright daylight – and the entire thing was caught on tape.

 

Today, the 114th caught the attacker – a 37 year old named Charles Piccolo.  At the time of his arrest, he had a knife on him.

 

Swift choices have been made in his charges – he’s facing charges of second degree robbery and assault, as well and third and fourth degree weapons possession.
