Bourbon and Rye Pairing

The Astor Room is starting to blow us away with their events – each is better than the last. The latest event they’ve put together is a bourbon and rye pairing, and if you’re a lover of both, you don’t want to miss it.

 

At The Astor Room’s pairing event, you’ll be able to try lots of different drinks – including famous, well loved ones like Pappy Van Winkle and Knob Creek.

 

Not only that, but there’s a 5 course dinner, too! Well worth it for the price tag. Here’s all the info:

Here’s the whole menu for the night:

 

1st course:

 

Hand Cut Bacon with frisee and red watercress; Knob Creek

 

2nd course:

 

Acorn, Kabocha, Butternut Squash with Carrots and Turnips; Pappy Van Winkle 20yr

 

3rd course:

 

Homemade Linguini with Mushroom Cream and Oyster Mushrooms; Bullet Rye & Bullet Bourbon.

 

4th course:

 

Skirt Steak with Smashed Fingerling Potatoes, Grilled Scallions and Asparagus; Hudson Bourbon & Makers Mark

 

5th course:

 

Butterscotch Pudding with Smoked Chocolate Ganache; Clara Bow
