PizzAstoria is Coming to Broadway!

And what is the goal of PizzAstoria?

And that’s just what this place is going to be offering. Opening their doors on the corner of 34th and Broadway on September 14th, PizzAstoria is all about tradition, and all about family.
Its focus will be on great, down to earth, wholesome quality food. The freshest ingredients, organic and rich, taken by the Chef and brought together to serve a traditional Italian Menu (with a few Greek options).
Healthy choices are also provided, with wholemeal breads and specialty salads and pastas to match.
The pizzas will be cooked to perfection in one of 4 large custom brick ovens that line the wall, while the exceptional wine list along with spirits and beers will quench any palate.
Inside, the restaurant will be very much rustic, with a heavy stone and wooden decor. Open wooden ceiling beams and a warm golden glow will provide a relaxed and cozy space where friends and family can gather.
The owners were very much set on an environment where everyone can feel at home, without the pretentious overkill that most restaurants come with these days.
As far as seating goes, inside will seat 70, while outside will accommodate 20.
With so many new restaurants gracing the streets of Astoria, it’s good to see someone taking back to the old school.
