Have A Run At Astoria Parks ‘Open Run’

It's getting cold Astoria! Well, maybe not that cold, but it's coming. So why not take this time we have left of beautiful Fall, and go enjoy the sites of Astoria Park. 

Whether it's a picnic or a game of tennis, there's always something to do. 

This Saturday, November 14th, from 8:00 a.m.–9:00 a.m, the Open Run will be taking place once again at Astoria Park. The Open Run is a community based initiative that helps New York Road Runners and local volunteers to bring bring weekly runs to neighborhoods. 

The runs are all directed by volunteers, and are free. Runners should arrive 15 min before hand. 

The run is open to all ages, experience levels, walkers, strollers, dogs. 

Whoever you are, come down and have a jog!

The run has been going on from 9/19/2015 and will end 12/26/2015. So before it gets too cold, grab a few friends and go down to Astoria Park and enjoy a nice fall run.
