Well it's been 25 years since a very young Macaulay Culkin got left behind on Christmas by his family and ended up fending for himself against two hilariously clumsy and no good crooks in what would be one hell of a weekend. 

The plus side is that the crooks lost. The down side is that looking at how he ended up 25 years later, so did Culkin. 

But that isn't to say we can't have a little holiday cheer thanks to the film that most definitely still holds up, Home Alone. 

Thanks to Cinema Under the Influence and the Queens Get the Money Family, 6PM and 9PM on the 14th of December, a special screening of Home Alone will be held in Astoria's very own Queens Comfort. 

Patrons will be enjoying an all you can eat buffet care of Queens Comfort, along with tasty ice cream courtesy of Sweet Janes, and all washed down with bottomless glasses of boozy cider, mixed with a special spice from Cocktail Crate. 

Not to mention the raffle that each attendee will be going in with the chance to win a bunch of goodies from the Santa sack.
