Another Building Going Up In Astoria

The plans have been filed with the Department of Buildings. Another building is set to go up in Astoria. The new seven-story apartment building will see its home on 21-13 31st Ave, replacing the already existing three two-story homes along with the Auto Shop on the first floor, according to Yimby. 

The plans, filed by Developer Park Construction Corp, is set to see a 56 unit built, including 42,838 square feet of residential space with units averaging up to 764-square-foot. 

Only three apartments will be built on the first floor which will have a gym, bike storage, and parking. 

Yimby reported the development will also receive an open car park accommodating up to 28 cars, and also a roof deck. 

According to QNS, Park Construction, which is based in New Hyde Park, purchased all three properties (14,356 square feet all together) in October for $9.8 million.

Meltzer/Costa & Associates, Architecture and Engineering are the architects set to design the project.
