Two Get Away With Money And Jewels

Between 10:45AM on Saturday, February 20th, and 4:15AM Sunday February 21st, two suspects forced their way into an apartment in Astoria Heights on 73rd Street. 

They then proceeded to burgle the place, taking with them an undetermined amount of money along with jewerly and some other belongings before leaving the residents and making their escape in a grey minivan.   

The NYPD is asking for any information that the public may have as to the identity of the 2 criminals. 


Anyone with information in regards to these incidents or anyone who may have been a victim is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
