Conductor Punched For Not Going To Astoria

On May 7th, a 29 year old conductor was travelling northbound on an N train at the 49th Street Seventh Avenue station when a man asked him "is the Q train going to Astoria?".

After the conductor replied with, "no, just the N", the man standing on the platform punched him in the face and fled as he made a derogatory remark, according to police. 

The conductor was left bruised and confused, police still have not made an arrest.
