Bizarre Food’s Andrew Zimmern has been traveling the globe for decades, tasting some of the best dishes out there. But it’s good to know when it comes to New York meats, there’s only one place he wants to visit, and it’s right here in Astoria!

Muncan Food Corporation is located on 43-09 Broadway and is famous for crafting an variety of delicious homemade cured & smoked meats, plus cheese & specialty fare.

The family owned and operated butcher was established in 1978 by Brothers Tima and Jonel Muncan, according to their website.
