Mad For Merzouka – The Moroccan Cafe

New to the block, Merzouka opened its doors – on 2914 Crescent St – only recently, but the reviews are in and they’re delicious.

Meatball Platter and Couscous/ Nora B/ Yelp

Filled with Moroccan flavor, this quaint little cafe packs a culinary punch with its exotic spiced meats and out of this world couscous. Seriously, out of this world.

Now we could rave on about how mouth watering the Merzouka Platter was, what with its perfectly tender chicken bathed in a spice orgy. Or the home fries, that made you realize you have never eaten fries before. Or even the soft Pita bread that you could wrap a little of everything in. But that would all just be a tease.

Have you tried Astoria’s Merzouka Cafe?

So we’ll just leave you with a few pictures from some more than satisfied Merzouka customers and let the food do the talking.

If, however, you do find yourself hungry for a meal that will make you close your eyes with every bite, do yourself a favor and pay Merzouka a visit. It doesn’t scream fancy in any way, and it may not look like your usual 5 star restaurant, but at the end of the day we’re all about the food.
