Looks like Astoria will be getting a Target. It was announced Tuesday that the small-format location will be opening its doors in 2022 at Ditmars-Steinway.
It will be one of three small-format stores located in Queens, with the other in Forest Hills and one being planned for Jackson Heights in 2019.
The Astoria store will employ around 100 people, and will sell everything from beauty products to home decor, apparel and sporting goods.
It’ll be located on 31st Street, right between Ditmars Boulevard and 23rd Avenue.
