Known as the longest-standing and oldest gay bar in Queens, Albatross used to be a lesbian hangout before changing ownership in 2014 and becoming a hot spot for the LGBTQ community.
Tucked away on 3619 24th Ave, just off Broadway, Albatross has seen its fair share of crazy nights.
Events are on usually every evening, and range from Drag Race viewing parties to Karaoke Mondays.
With all the fun times and drinks to be had, it’s no wonder that Albatross has made it to the Thrillist Top 11 Best LGBTQ Bars in NYC.
The atmosphere is laid back and easy going, the bartenders are nothing but smiles, and the people are fabulous.
