Calling All Comic Nerds

Comic books have especially seen a resurgence of fandom lately. While many brick and mortar locations (especially mom and pop shops) suffer from the rise of the internet, Royal Collectibles is thriving now more than ever and have opened their second location in Astoria.

 

The store is a utopia of comic books, graphic novels, toys, sports memorabilia, and more! Both modern and classic finds are available, as well as the option to sell and trade vintage comics and collectibles. Aside from the variety of things to purchase, stepping into Royal Collectibles is an experience. Owners are personable and looking forward to recommending or chatting away about their recommendations and industry knowledge. Fun Fact: the store manager Nick Mik is also one of our own, an Astoria resident.

Doors are already open due to all the hype and positive responses received, however the official Grand Opening event is said to take place May 4th, which is also “Free ComicBook Day” and “Star Wars Day”
