Admire works of Astorians’ art at the Steinway Street Art Walk!

By Loulou Chryssides

Queens, more specifically Astoria, has become a hub for local artists to create and share in recent years. On Saturday, September 14th from 3-7PM, the Central Astoria Local Development Coalition invites you to admire original artwork by local creatives.

As per the above flyer, the event will feature street art, pop-up sidewalk displays, in-store galleries, and window galleries. The Steinway Street Art Walk is scheduled to begin at Long Island City Kleaners located at 30-53 Steinway Street, where festivalgoers pick up their guidebook for the event.

The self-guided art tour will end with an event at Comfortland, located at 40-09 30th Ave., where attendees will be able to socialize with featured artists, and each other.
