Lottery open for Astoria’s newest affordable housing units, starting at $1,900

A new affordable housing lottery has opened in Astoria, with studios starting at $1900 per month. The building, located at 31-19 37th St., is looking to rent a total of 12 apartment units. The apartments consist of two studios, four 1-bedroom units, and six 2-bedroom units.

The minimum income for the studio unit? Approximately $65,143 per year. For those in search of a 1-bedroom unit, the minimum income begins at $70,286. Lastly, for the 2-bedroom units, a minimum income of $82,286 is preferred. Starting rents for the 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units are $2,050 and $2,400, respectively.

The newest building boasts amenities such as a digital doorman, an elevator, a gym, rooftop access, storage, a bike room, stainless steel appliances, and more. The building is also located within the vicinity of the N & W subway lines, as well as the Q101, Q104, Q18, Q102 bus lines.
