The restaurant’s driving force, when it truly accomplishes its mission. Zenon Taverna, specializing in Greek & Cypriot cuisine, has been family-owned and operated since 1988. The restaurant is full-service and offers lunch, dinner, take-out, delivery and outdoor seating. Additionally, there is a second-floor ideal for hosting milestone events such as weddings, birthdays, baptisms, and more.
Because meals are considered social events in both Greece and Cyprus, this same belief is passed on through each experience at Zenon Taverna. Owner Stelios Papageorgiou trained as a chef at the Hotel and Catering Institute of Cyprus, specializing in Cypriot cuisine. He left home and set his sights on opening a Cypriot-style restaurant in the big city, and tradition and family still remain at the forefront of Zenon Taverna’s core values.
Enjoy classics such as pastitsio, warm layers of macaroni topped with chopped pork, mint, grated Halloumi cheese and béchamel. The mixed grill is also another satisfying option, sure to leave the whole family full. Zenon Taverna also offers a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan-friendly options, such as the delicious stuffed eggplant, briam, and stuffed grapeleaves.
